Very nice brochure. It reflects the friendly and professional mindset of the German Pentax guys that I met so far.

Not sure if everyone would have done this, but If you go up a level, there's an English brochure on the K-1 II

It's niche cameras. not FF or APS-C DSLR. One of the smallest line in Pentax history IMO

All Pentax cameras are niche, and the buyers are niche. 2 percent marketshare, perhaps.

This means Ricoh needs to act like Leica, Sigma, Hassy, etc, not like Canon or Nikon.

It cannot of course be another Canon, Sony or Nikon, those companies already exist, and are coping badly with the market downturn because they are so big.

There, I fixed it for you.

What about Fuji?

Alas, Ricoh doesn't act as Sigma, Hasselblad, Leica, Sigma, Fuji...It acts like almost invisible or vague player...

Fujifilm \ Imaging Solutions \ Electronic Imaging is almost five times bigger than Ricoh \ Other \ Smart Vision. Of which Pentax is only a small part considering the emphasis put on GR III and Theta in Ricoh's latest financial reporting:

Another performance contributor was the camera business, whose profits improved. We have received numerous orders for the GRIII digital camera, which we released at the end of fiscal 2018, and the THETA Z1 camera, which we brought out in May.

Fuji's APS-C lineup is also very good, but they offer slightly different things right? They have more emphasis in fast lenses while Pentax has the upper hand in compactness (the 15/21/40/70 DA Limiteds only really have their counterpart in the 18 and 27mm pancakes).
On the tele side, the only lenses over 200mm in X-Mount are the 50-230 (F/4.5-6.7) and the 2000€ 100-400mm zoom, while Pentax has the 55-300, 60-250, 18-270, 300 and 560mm lenses. Not even mentioning the wealth of older Pentax-M/A/F glass than can be put to work directly without any problems, because that's not the point here.

Don't get me wrong, Fuji is the only other system that, to me, makes sense as an APS-C shooter that wants dedicated lenses, but I still think that Pentax is slightly ahead.
