LEO {Low Earth Orbit} objects tend not to last that long. The ISS is so large I'm sure the appropriate scientists have already planned how to destroy it over the Pacific when "its time has come".
Some say that, actually, the sea level rise is due to every single piece of trash that falls down from the sky

It seems to be scheduled to last until 2024 unless they extend it again.

I am reminded of the first Mars mission. The plan was to land on the 4th of July, but conditions were not right when the spacecraft arrived at Mars. So they postponed it.

If the new Pentax is not ready in the centenary year, then the world will just have to wait.

The LX was released in 1980, not 1979 . . . . .

So if the 100th year is on November 27, 2019, then it ends on November 26, 2020. If this camera comes out within this date range then its still a centennial camera. Who knows maybe there will be more stuff coming within this period.

Nope. The 100th year ends sometimes on 27 November 2019. It's the 101st year that begins on 27 November 2019, since the first year begun on 27 November 1919.

Well, if it's released on the 101st year, clearly the K-new will be the "first camera of the new century".

Do you think this is the next birthday for the next 100 years? It would be a little too long for me

"100% Pentax in the Pentax for its 100th birthday. Then:" 101% Pentax for its 101st birthday "etc. It makes sense

That would mean a second camera for free! It would be worth the wait.

Let it be called the K-101 then. Like in the US: US 1 on the one side (the East coast), US 101 on the other side (the West coast).
