Why would they blank out the LV script on the button?
Maybe it is user-assignable?

Anyone else surprised that Ricoh beat all the leakers by posting non-obscured photos on their official website? This doesn't follow past behaviour from the Ricoh Imaging people at all, something has definitely changed internally since the K-1 was brought to market.
Very true!

Is that an auto VF/LCD sensor switcher below the viewfinder?

Hopefully now K-P prices can finally plummet for me

Looks like this camera will be very promising. Funny they haven't figured out a name yet, but to be a true K-3 replacement it needs to say Ricoh on the back.

As long as this has the viewfinder LCD of the K-1, its an instant preorder for me. Shame about the lack of tilt screen though.
It looks unfinished - one of the buttons isn’t painted and the joystick looks odd so don’t assume the depicted LCD flush mount is the finished product.

It probably detects eye proximity then shuts off rear screen. At least my Sony DSLR's from 10 years ago used to do this..

I just prefer to leave the rear screen off to save battery and only use it when diving into menus or reviewing photos.
