So much doom and gloom, and the specs haven't even been released yet lol!

Why does everyone think Pentax HAS to go mirrorless to succeed? I've owned a Sony a55 with electronic viewfinder I can tell you traditional DSLRs still have their advantages and I do prefer them.

Moving on to wilder speculation, there is the matter of a name. I suggest something with the allure of Pentax's glorious near past. How about...

K-*ister

...pronounced kay-spat'-istur' * or (alternatively) kay-star-ees'-tar. Hey! No laughter! I am serious.

Steve

* Following the convention in IT and programming circles of pronouncing the character "*" as "splat".

What if one of the unnamed buttons unlocks the screen to be pushed forward towards you, which then enables you more space to lift it with a finger from the bottom right corner?

I think they should name it the K-Sera Sera.

But, knowing Ricoh, whatever will be, will be...

And the laser rangefinder just has a really high setting...

Make that names. I wouldn't be surprised if they released a flash and GPS version, in black and silver of course. Well if you are going to have a Birthday, go big.

It is a handsome body too.

Moveable LCD ?

Is that an inset for a fingertip to lift the LCD, on the lower right? It may be a great camera, but if there is no mechanism to change the LCD orientation, as on the K70, I just can't use it.

Way too good. I used my Q-7 for a few weeks ..... and then decided that I was 100% correct - if a camera doesn't have an EVF, I have absolutely no interest.
