Is there any Chance to get some information about specs at the moment?
Sorry to say I have no info on the specs. The people in the know seem very excited over it, so I imagine we will be happy with the final product.

I hope it has USB-C, and it can be used for power and in camera charging of battery.

hope the inside is much much better
I'm not convinced any dslr needs a radical new rocket ship design.

To my eye's this camera looks fresh with nice clean lines. Like a new shiny sports car.

I love the design. It looks much better than the KP.

As has been suggested by others here, the top left LV selector button of the KP and K1 may have gained a new role of releasing the screen.
I am thinking that the unmarked button may well be a full release to allow the screen to be removed completely from the camera for use as a touch-screen enabled remote. Obviously, such would also function as a phone and portable calculator/recipe file.

Levity aside, seeing the latest set of photos, I am inclined to think that the unmarked button looks a lot like some sort of release. Too bad nobody is talking interchangeable prisms, right?

Nice side by side. Got one from the front?

You should align the profiles by the sensor plane indicator.
...and scale to the K-mount, the one known dimension (other than the tripod socket) on the camera.

I can confirm that the little notch in the photo is an illusion due to the angle and light. It's actually going out rather than in and under the screen (the right panel extends out). This in-develpment model does not have an articulating screen. Yes, I have seen this in up close in person. Please note that this does not mean the final version will not have it. This is still in the development stage, so anything can change at this point. What I was told is that the wait will very much be worth it.
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for your photos and report!

Were told anything other than they are excited? Any approximate time line, for example.

You must not have a KP.

I have a KP and I am attracted by neither the GRRRR nor the new camera.

No firm timeline given and I would not trust one if they did as they never seem to meet their timelines. :-) I will just trust them at their word of it being worth the wait. They really seem super excited about it, so I have a good feeling that those of us waiting to upgrade will be rewarded.

Is it silly to imgine that, just based on shape, the top LCD might be OLED? At least it's got bigger again
