That's it.

Asahi man is very cryptic. I suspect Ricoh may have implemented eye focus AF into the DSLR as per a recent patent. i.e "precise eyes". Therefore the unlabeled button might be a CD/PD autofocus switch?

I'd say your 'interpretation' is a bit far-fetched.

The unmarked button on the left is cause for endless speculation. Here's mine: it turns turns off the hybrid viewfinder off when pressed.

I can’t imagine that in 2019 a flagship camera would be put out with a fixed screen. I think the added flexibility is just expected these days. If you want to really take shots from novel, creative perspectives, a fixed screen is a pita.
The same has been said about mirrorless, video, etc. We all have our own 'must haves' but there is no universal 'must have'.

This Button make that the new Camera will be every day have a sensor for super speculativ sound in Internet.

Before Internet be called the "M-Button". Marketing at all!

I think that is the role of the proximity sensor underneath the viewfinder? A touchscreen can be turned of via an icon.

Well, I'll have you know that I consider any camera without shutter to be a bad idea.

:P Just kidding, obviously. Like most, I could live without some of these "must have" features, and some of the "bells and whistles" I find very nice or even important.

So, who is buying a KP right now?
The new camera will show up soon or kill KP sales.

For a long time since K5 the new camera looks like it has new Features not just incremental improvements.

It's the focal plane marker. It shows the location of the sensor... focus distance for your lens is measured from this point.

I Haven't seen anyone comment on the locking lever on the left side of the camera, under the mode dial. What could that be for? Could it be that it locks the rear screen in place, an the screen pops out when the lever is engaged?

There IS an unlabelled button on the left of the viewfinder. I was thinking On/Off for either WiFi or GPS. We shall see.

Why would they unlabel such a button when every other button is labeled? It must be that the function of the button is something Pentax isn't willing to tell us about at this stage.

Correct. There is more to this. And why in the top left hand corner? So you can use it without looking?
