Or maybe just Ben Z. Ford.

(Z short for Zaphod of course).

I think you're onto something. Perhaps the ZT - never forget your towel

No doubt to cover up identifying marks such as the model number, and perhaps a new grip connector or a button to release the flush LCD screen for flip out use.

[Edit]: This idea has been debunked downthread

You are still looking at the image that is misleading, because of the perspective. It is an optical illusion, but all you are seeing is the horizontal surface inside the curve. This image is more clear:

We see it differently. That's all. Personally, I don't care how anyone else views it. I have no more to say.

One can stubbornly argue that the water is dry. Just don't blame the water company for delivering wet water.
What if there is a button on the bottom to flip the flush screen out?

actually that white square must be where the model info is, as it isn't anyhere else

My guess is that it's a more or less finished camera with all the model info and various numbers etc visible on the base plate. I'd expect a release in a couple of months.

You mean a design made so you have to remove the battery grip to flip out the screen?

I thought about that. I’m trying to think of a situation in common use that requires a battery grip and a flipped out screen. I thought the primary use of a grip was for portrait orientation. If the camera has a D-Li90 what do we need a second battery for?

Must be "not safe for work". The ports may have been exposed.

Actually a non-blurred picture of the bottom would have shown that the entire front protrusion can be ejected, including the mirror box, granting access to a short-flanged mirrorless camera.

Hence the importance of the top dial OVF / EVF / video.

I know this isn't going to happen but I would love to see a panorama mode on the mode dial. In-camera stitching would be sweet. It will be 2020 after all.
