In the same vein, I think @Mistral75 is not serious when suggesting that the button is for toggling between 12-bit and 14-bit.
Am I not?

I luckily never crave beer in the morning. Now coffee that's a different story.
I try to live by the grman "kein Bier vor vier" law, but you know, it's always 4pm somewhere in this world.

Now coffee is a whole different story. On weekdays, the first thing i do after getting out of bed is starting the coffee machine. I would be un unpleasand person at work without my fix (or more than i already am).

Back on topic, is it possible the next flagship will have a beer opener in the bottom plate? Such a camera would be a blast at parties.

K-Century would also be appropriate I think.

A beer opener is not needed in Germany, incidentally. I've been living here for three years and I'm still impressed with how many impromptu beer openers the average German can find in a room... talk abour pencils and paperclips.

They also say 'I'm assuming there is some sort of flip screen for this camera but I'll be surprised if they don't have a flip screen for this camera.' (verbatim)

To treat this with more seriousness than it deserves ( ) - trouble is, it's not the 100th anniversary of the K-mount, any more than it is of Pentax

I still don't see why they have to stick with K anything - they never used to when they were an independant company

Nope, that's not possible.
Even the writing/speaking styles are completely different.

There was also a KX. And a KM. In fact, from the original KSeries film SLRs, the K2 is the only one whose name hasn't been reused. Hmmm... both the K-m and K-x were entry level cameras, mimicking their film counterparts. The K2 was top-of the line so they might bring back the name.

I wouldn't be surprised if the flagship lines got consolidated K-1 mk X and K-2 mk Y, ā la Canon/Sony/Olympus.

festivities usually last longer or even start long after 4pm.

Better connectivity would be great for tasking the coffee machine or to share pictures right after taking them.

That's a pretty bold call as we know three fifths of five eighths of b.... all (as they say).

When the K-*isn't is finally released, this thread should be compiled into a book.
