I would put it on my silver Program Plus which doesn't get much use this days and sits on display. I seldom use flash on this camera so there is little change of losing the cover.

Since it's limited edition if anything it will be higher because you'll have to buy it from "speculators" who bought multiple copies to sell later at higher prices.

I can understand manufacturing costs of small batch items, but that's crazy. I'd rather pay for a nice custom (and well designed) neck strap or even a sticker.
