and this post has not counted, still on 0, that happened at the beginning of October as well. It is already November here.

ok now it is counting down, strange that it misses the first post each time.

From the October 'raffles', the database takes a minute or two to include a post, but it will eventually count all of your posts, including the first.

frankly I like the rules of the current contests

Well the solution is simple...........write 100 posts in a month that isn't hard........or sit and complain 100 times that counts as posts too.

I believe the theory is to count likes received; so if I "like" this post, you would receive an extra 'point' towards the 'raffle'. I also believe this was suggested last month when @Adam was asking for suggestions on how these 'raffles' should be run. What it boils down to, is that people will complain no matter how he runs it. I think he is very gracious in running the 'raffles' at all. .

Don’t know if that’s a comment to my “1 like = 1 post” sugestion reg321, but it was certainly not meant as a complaint, it was rather meant as a constructive suggestion (I did not see Adam asking for suggestions). I’ll never write 100 posts in a month, but if likes for pictures or comments posted counted as well, it would/could add to the forum as well as posts.
I’m fully satisfied with participating in the vintage 50mm contest
