Personally, in the interest of attempting to preserve a bit of this place's signal-to-noise ratio, I wish that likes received also counted as points (rather than only posts made). That way, people who make fewer but more valued contributions would be encouraged... Just a thought.

While I realize you have to limit the amount of tickets being given out, but 100 post in 30 days per ticket seems to be excessive.

My reckoning is that midnight on 1st occurs after 23:59 on the 1st, shortly followed by 00:01 on the 2nd....

Am I the only one to see it that way? (ie the new year starts after midnight on the 31st of December)
