I'm not a fan of this style of contest. It just turns the forum into a wasteland of pointless comments that aren't on any topic at all. And now its 3 months of this? Sigh. I would love the prizes but there has to be a better way to do this.

You're doing it wrong if it interferes with posting rather than being a solid 8hr slot of posting!

Even starting tomorrow, 100 posts is just 4 per day. Anyone can think of four things to say in one day. Now, to say one-hundred things in one day, that is hard, but not four things.

There's already a fair number of members logging 100 posts. Maybe not all that hard after-all if someone isn't trying to say much.

I think most of the gratuitous posting has been in these rumor threads where a high percentage of the post are always fluff anyway so no real harm to the forum.

There are currently 11 entries in the "lottery" that requires 100 posts to get in and 151 entries in the "lottery" that requires 10 posts to get in. Ten so far requires three per day; one hundred requires twenty-five per day. One can do that many by saying things, although seldom in this thread.
