Actually the Ricoh staff made no comment about the screen, but Karen did make an oblique comment about it, and it is difficult to tell by the photo she posted if the screen will be articulating.

We will have to wait until an actual production model of the new camera is made available.

The reverse reminds me of some of the solenoid replacement tutorials for the K-30/K-50.

There also is a T-shirt. How difficult is it to order these outside of Japan?

There is no such thing as a quote from the staff about the screen. There is the staff stating the obvious 'staff tell me this is not the final model for mass product' (the showcased cameras aren't production models) followed by Karen the Star making their own deduction 'so who think the back screen will be unable to pull out can rest assured now'.

The same apply to Karen the Star's second post on the same topic:
  1. Report on staff's statement: 'staff tell me this is not final model for mass product...'
  2. Karen the Star's own comment: 'no camera today use screen that unable to move, so , be relax....'
Am I just confused, or do Karen the Star's comments contradict each other? So it's just for continuing the controversy about a fixed vs moveable screen?
Seeing as the staff is not revealing anything, I assume that it's just more "we'll see when we see".

Nothing that appears that is not from Ricoh has any real worth. All the rest is just chatter and not worth analysis. But, of course, thanks to Karen for sharing her experience.
