SRS Microsystems 'Pentax 100' Event on Saturday 23rd November

Folks

Just got an email from the company and thought I'd give a heads up that this event will take place in Watford (UK) on Saturday 23rd November. The new prototype DSLR will also be on show. Numerous workshops. See link for details Pentax 100

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it but there seems to be plenty of workshops/seminars to choose from and a free sensor clean if required.

I'd love to attend, but it's a 520 mile round trip for me. Whilst I consider myself a dedicated Pentaxian, I'm not quite that dedicated

I'll have to enjoy it vicariously...

Awwwww, I have just been invited. But... how am I going to fit a visit to the UK into my calendar?

It looks totally awesome. And the new camera will be there!

Easy... Drive to Rotterdam, ferry to Harwich, drive to Watford! You'd be there in, what, 15 hours?

Worth the leisurely drive, I'd say!

For me, it would be Ottawa-London Heathrow (7 hours overnight), hire car to Watford (1 hour). Well, it would cost me about CAD $1,000 plus hotels and meals.

It is up to you two guys to take one for the team. Fly first class so you will be comfortable. Have a limo waiting at the airport to whisk you to the show. Rent a suite at a local hotel for the duration of the show and give us daily briefings.

I didn't realise I had to book up! I'm glad I read your post now, so many thanks.

I live in Milton Keynes, it's about 37 miles to SRS's shop, I have mastered the Watford one way system; I'm going.
