And I'm completely amazed at their adaptive abilities and intelligence. Humans should be so smart.

But I agree with you: gigantism is often the prelude to extinction. The Olympus OM-D E-M1X is therefore a bad sign.
I don't know the capabilities of the E-M1X. But it sure defeated the purpose of being micro. That thing weighs like a full frame camera.

It looks fast but otherwise pointless.

Definitely a niche player.

And, yeah, not what I would be looking for out of micro 4/3...

Now that's what I call nichier than a niche.

You should post this in the thread bemoaning the lack of glass for the K1 (hell of a collection BTW )

Even if I would have been a person who likes shooting with old lenses, which I'm not, some of those lenses are not in production anymore and half from this list can't be found in the Romanian second hand market anyway and even in international market some of the lenses are hard to find in good conditions.

But, there are the modern f2.8 trinity zoom lenses, with another modern 150-450mm lens, 55-300mm lens, 50mm f1.4 lens and these lenses can satisfy the majority of photographers, especialy due to the fact that are cheaper than the equivalent lenses from other manufacturers.

Yes. The modern lenses listed by Dan are excellent and make our modern Pentax cameras capable of keeping up with anyone. The deep bench of lenses such as those on Sandy's list is a very nice bonus.

Honestly the 28-105 is already enough lens to cover a lot of things already if you want to keep things on the lighter side. The more "serious" side has trinity, birders have an amazing 150-450 (and the 55-300 from what it seems is a great second option for a very reasonable price), and the D FA* 50/1.4 is just gorgeous.

Now to find an M20/4 or a K17/4 for the "I might need a wide angle, let's drop something in the pocket" moments...

Or you can pick up a lens by another maker - such as the Tamron AdaptAll 17mm f/3.5 I picked up.

Been eyeing that one and the Tokina 17/3.5 (I might have mentioned that before) but the two or three copies I've seen are quite expensive for their performance*. It's not so urgent, so I can wait and grab a Pentax when the opportunity arises (or say "whatever" and go for the Samyang 14/2.8 but that one is larger than I'd like to carry).

*And in the case of the Tamron, it's a double gamble to get a good adapter as well.

In my opinion, more and more photographers think that Pentax is going away. I have been trying to sell a couple of nice lenses at ridiculously low prices, much lower than B&H and no one is interested. They are on the forum here and on eBay and no one is offering anything, there are only a very few viewers on ebay. Normally, when I offer something for sale, it sells fast. It really makes me wonder. What do you think?

Don't need them because I have replaced them with similar lenses for my Olympus. I mostly use Olympus now because of the weight and use my K1 when I really need the resolution and dynamic range.

Not necessarily. I've listed on a popular second hand website a Canon 35mm f2 at a good price and one year ago would have been sold by the end of the day. But, since EOS R and RP came out, DSLR lenses and bodies are harder to sell. Not to mention the fact that Black friday is around the corner and people are willing to wait 3 more weeks hoping to get something they need at a good price, in new condition rather than second hand.
