not that I know of

but growing up in Illinois and living in Iowa from 1979 to 2001

Ohio was the " mideast ", not the " midwest "

Yeah, geographically, the midwest is more like Utah and Colorado. Cincinnati is a heck of a lot closer to the east coast than the west.

definitely

Minnesota and Wisconsin to the north

Iowa and Illinois [ perhaps Indiana and Michigan ]

and not too far south

so Missouri was in

Technically I believe the OP {and I} are part of the "Ohio River Valley"; my sister-in-law {who lived in New York, now in California, just avoids the whole thing by referring to us as "Flyover Country".

in the area I grew up in East Central Illinois

Kansas was the northern part of the SouthWest

where the Cowboys and Native Americans lived ( the Wild Wild West - Dodge City, Wichita )

west of the Missouri River and east of the Rockies

Roberts has carried Pentax for years {I got my first Pentax camera there}, and they have a national footprint.
