The K F(ull) C(ropped). Perfect name for an APS-C camera. Who could possibly object to that?

(early) Summer would make a lot of sense. If the camera will be officially announced in late winter/early spring, then waiting a couple of months for launch would be consistent with how things have been in the past.

Would fit if they want to place it as a sports/action camera

If this mean that shooting in jpeg mode will be much better than before, I believe this cam will generate substantial sales revenues.

Nah, it was a joke! I would say a foul joke for which she should be battered, but it was actually rather good

When I read this I feel a little bad mood, from website 「デジカメInfo」, which means digital camera information, I've got a news said that the new APS-C flagship will on sell in Summer 2020, for me this means quite being delayed

Also, the news said the screen on camera will be unable to pull out, sorry don't know how to write that in English with single word , but I don't believe this

seems the information is from Kimio Takana's feeling about when he touch this prototype,
(...)
Digital Camera Info are indeed reporting on Kimio Tanaka's blog post, which was covered in other Pentax Forums threads, so there is nothing really new here.

think about last twitter of him, he foreseen that camera's detail will be release on 2020, however it was announced just last month actually, so his utterance is not absolutely correct

(...)
The announcement that took place on the 20th of September was that the K-series DSLR camera currently under development would be exhibited at the PENTAX fan events organised in the framework of the 100th anniversary of Asahi Optical.

No details were disclosed concerning the camera except it being the APS-C flagship and being scheduled to be launched in 2020.

This is perfectly coherent with Kimio Tanaka indicating that the camera's specifications will be disclosed in 2020. Just before CP+, I would add. Same path as the one followed for the K-1's announcement and launch.

Notice that they claim to have handled the demonstration model and peeled back the tape and found the name "unpleasant".

Google Translate has it wrong on this one. Kimio Tanaka says he was tempted to peel back the tape to get a peek at the camera's name but refrained to do so because he feared he would be disappointed.

I would say he's half joking, half playing with our nerves and those of the Ricoh Imaging executives who let him handle the camera.

He did not, see my prior post.
