I have a cousin who had a Mini back in the 70's, and there goes a story that he once drove a whole football team (11 guys) in it. I think someone exaggerated a bit, though. The original Mini really is small. The modern day 'Mini' is huge compared to that one!
Only 11 ? Check out the record at number2 ..... Funny and amazing world records broken live on Blue Peter - watch now! - CBBC - BBC

Totally awesome. OK, now, what about a high clearance and 4 wheel drive.

You can't watch that video outside the UK, unfortunately, but I'm sure the world record is well beyond 11. Then again, I guess they didn't drive the car with all those people in it.

That reminds me of something that happened years ago... 4 men stole 11 sheep with an Oltcit - a Citroen Axel if you wish.
4 men and 11 sheep, all crowded in a small car, and yes they did drive it for some 100km.

Afterwards, they sold the Citroen as a "ewesed" car.

That pun led me to a book called "The Pragmatics of Humour across Discourse Domains"

You might be right...and I think we should all start growing our index finger nail right now in preparation for this! (I seriously hope that we don't really have to do that...)

I notice none have commented on the clear difference between the photo we have posted on the forum, and the back of a fixed screen camera. The doubters seem to just ignore it. Conspiracy theory on a grand scale.

There is a clear bevel around the screen, and bottom right there is a corner bottom right there is an indentation that can be used to pry it open.
I'm not even sure why there is at this point any confusion around this.

The first thing I'd do handed this camera would be put my finger in there and pry to see what happens. Why would they do that if it's not a flip out screen?

I'll believe there is no flip out screen, when someone can explain the difference.

Having been off the forum for a while I have no idea what insanity transpired to convince people otherwise.

But as per usual, I go by what i see, and don't pay a lot of attention to the chatter.

Oh, oh,
The brand new Leica S2 is more than 6000 bugs.
And no one talk about the dixed screen.

I really hope the delay if there is one is down to design & refining rather than more serious operational/supply chain issues. Personally I'm not interested in buying the new camera as I'm happy with my K-70 and K-5, but like everyone here I want Pentax to be successful.

I never bought a Porsch, no factory roof racks for your canoe.
You know, Porsche makes a four door sedan and a couple of SUVs that have roof racks...

It’s a whole other argument about whether that was a good idea... though the same basic concept...

Exactly! Welcome to the world of making engineering trade-offs decisions for crabby consumers!

At least no one has insisted that Ricoh can just upgrade the firmware to create an articulating screen!
But Ricoh CAN just upgrade the firmware and violá! Articulating screen! It's possible! Trust me! They just need a firmware upgrade and my K-3II will have an articulating screen too!

The Leica S2 (medium format reflex camera) costs much more than $6,000. I presume @dicki meant the Leica SL2, a 24x36 mirrorless camera.

And still no factory rack for your canoe or kayak...
