Was hoping Ricoh would confirm a detail or two about the K-new this month. I believe they let the name for the K-1 slip out in Nov 2015. Just confirm something to keep us on alert and excited for the new camera while everyone is giving discounts for the holiday season

They have shown the body - that is more than a mere 'slip'.

I meant that when the K-1 was coming we first saw it shown under glass, then we learned the name would be K-1, then it would have 36mp before official announcement. We have seen the K-new body under glass, but not yet with a lens mounted. Nor have any other specs leaked out or been revealed. If it is on track for CP+ 2020, then some details are likely to be known before then. I was just hoping that Ricoh would have revealed another tidbit or two around the 27th. Not worried.

This post started off telling us the date of the new camera will be later than many have been hoping - and it has gone downhill since then - but I don’t know reliable this source is.
