My rescue tri-color Corgi thinks she’s pretty perfect, seems to be a Corgi mindset :

It's not non-stick AND cast iron at the same time now is it? :P

If that was so..... you'd have more than one.... or at least one black one and one silver one.

Since a camera contains software, it can never be perfect, because any bug free software is either outdated or uninteresting

I like how the concept of the perfect camera became a topic now.

Of course. When properly seasoned, cast iron is non-stick in most cases.

If it needs seasoning it's not point-n-cook. Not perfect enough

Jokes aside, when it comes to electronics it's pretty difficult to not compromise anywhere, but I have a bunch of things that are also close to perfection: I wore down my old Mephisto Allrounders and promptly bought another pair as it's like walking on a cloud (and I keep buying a new pair of Chiruca boots every three winters).

My skillets don’t need seasoning They are properly seasoned

I was going to mention shoes, but the ones I love are not particularly stylish or attractive, so not quite perfect.

And the notion of perfection also has a habit of changing... with time and context, so even if something is perfect now, for whatever I’m doing, it won’t be tomorrow or if I do something different.

A perfect cast iron skillet makes a rubbish boot, for example

That was the point: "perfection" when you work within a set of limitations is inherently impossible, because someone will inevitably find that the compromises made by the designers are... less than perfect.

Shoe-point in case: my girlfriend has formally forbidden me from wearing any hiking clothes or shoes to formal ocassions. The Mephistos are fine because they are a pretty neutral dark blue but the boots are permanently barred.

I just encountered the Mephisto brand this July when I was in France. Nice shoes and comfortable too.

That’s weird. She says you did...

Must be why you’re a pair
