Don’t the earlier SC models use a very different OS from the Theta V?

Does this one follow that scheme? Or has it switched to the fancy OS?

Always nice to see new products, I've been wanting a Theta, but can't justify it for the amount I would use it. It certainly would be fun to have thou.

I'm in the same boat. Looks fun but I don't know when or if or how I would use it. I might buy one if I find a used one for very cheap but it would probably lay in a drawer unused like a lot of other tech I got thinking that I would use it for something.

I wish there was an entry level version with that large 1" sensor. The smaller version was too noisy for me and I returned it.

I’m in the same position as others here, in that, although I find the concept interesting, I’m not sure what I’d do with a 360° camera. I can see an application for immersive video, using AR, but I’d be happy to see the range of things people are actually doing with a Theta.
