They haven't begun yet to talk about digital cameras, but film cameras they haven't talked about specifications per se; thus, we don't have any reason to expect them to tell us any more about the "K-3i replacement". Ricoh doesn't make many publicity 'mistakes', so I'm expecting them to tell us exactly what they plan to tell us, and when.

11 December. Ricoh Imaging Europe were very late today.

1984: PENTAX 645 – Until the introduction of the Pentax 645, medium format cameras were always considered a little exotic, which was due to their often complicated handling. The cameras in this series were just as easy to handle as a 35mm SLR, which was also the case with the 645N and then as an autofocus camera with the 645D and currently with the 645Z, whereby the user interface corresponded to the respective KB-SLR.

??? While the 645 was manual focus, both the 645N and 645NII were AF cameras. So, who wants to guess the identity of the KB-SLR?

If this goes chronologically, then it seems like they skipped LX (1980)

Maybe 'KB' stands for 'Kleinbild' (small format in German).

Steve
I think they wrote 'autofocus' instead of 'digital'.

12 December. Back to normal hours.

1986: PENTAX ZOOM 70 – This camera ushered in a new era of 35mm photography. The world's first zoom compact camera is equipped with a 35 to 70 mm focal length lens and offers more creative options by adjusting the angle of view. It also has an integrated flash unit. The Zoom 70 is the mother of all modern zoom compact cameras. Pentax set standards in compact camera manufacture in the Zoom Series (later Zoom 90, Zoom 105 and Zoom 90WR).

They used a picture of the 1989 Pentax Zoom 70-X to illustrate the 1986 Pentax Zoom 70...

13 December.

1991: PENTAX Z-1 – Pentax studied the market for a long time in order to really supply new innovations with the Z-1 in the then new AF SLR sector. Pentax once again set standards with this top product in the Z Series, be this expressed by the powerzoom lenses or the hyper manual automatic mode, which was still unique at that time.

14 December.

1992: PENTAX Espio – The lightest and smallest 35 mm zoom compact camera in the world is introduced. The cameras in the Espio Series revolutionised the compact camera market and were the forerunners of all current compact cameras. A large number of different models followed. Lens systems were supplied to Casio, among others.
