We might add that in both October and November the number ‘drawn’ corresponded to someone who was not holder of the most number of ‘tickets’, but somone who had more than two of them.

But you 'won' in October, holding 7 tickets when I had 11, so holding more just increases the odds, doesn't determine 'winner'.
If you have used that lens half a dozen times by now, you have gotten much better use than I would have, so I certainly don't begrudge your 'winning'.

My KP is and does fine. We won't know about the new camera until sometime after this GiveAway is over - in fact whoever receives the camera may one of those who provides us with information about those.

Well, Ricoh must know that the expectations are high for the K-new -- the company has stoked them itself, not least through its "100 Years of History" events -- and it can't afford for the new APS-C flagship not to build on the strengths of its predecessors and even put the bar a little higher. And the leaked images of the prototype do seem to point to some evolution in the usability department.

Nor is there any reason to doubt that the new model will be at least as weather-sealed and cold-proof as its predecessors (- 10 °C / 14 °F).

But, strictly speaking, even those predictions are informed speculation at this point.

APS-C is just the sensor size. The cameras are as easy (or difficult) to use as DSLR or mirrorless cameras with any other sensor size
