The important part of this thread is its name - we can expect announcement and first deliveries of the "K-3ii replacement" sometime in the year that has already begin!!

I sure hope with all the hype the k-new has 8k video, 200 fps burst, a transdimensional flippy screen and bacon cooking capabilities.

I really hope it has flip screen for Live View, so that it is easier to see when on a telescope that is tipped way up. And computer control capability would be nice, so astrophotography apps can control it. If has those two features, then I am all in for it! Otherwise, I am still very happy w my K3

I would not expect them to make such major changes to the body after displaying the prototype.
I wonder if the button missing its printing is simple planed to be the wifi one, but as the certification is not done yet they are not allowed to put the symbol there.

Interesting idea, but wouldn’t that make it more susceptible to inadvertent activations vs making it a selection on the third dial wheel combo. Your idea might also be why that dial has only 3 choices currently.

You forgot to end with a smiley face to show that this is a joke.

Honestly speaking, I have used the flippy screen on my KP just a few times, and I have to relearn its capabilities each time.
That is OK, it makes certain photos easier. I hope you will remain happy with your K-3 for a while yet.

I tend to use the tilt screen of my K-1 at least once or twice every time I go out; for some of those shots I probably wouldn't bother with a fixed screen.
