I do not see why any activity we are aware of should drop price of the K-1ii.

Lucky you! But anyway - do you expect it to work perfectly forever? And what happens one day, when there's a malfunction and no actual camera available? This is a real nightmare for me

I think it would've been better to use a 645 or K-1 for that. Would've fit the expensive nature better I think.

Yes, this has been a very strange year for those of us in the middle of North America. On Halloween I brought my wife home in a blizzard. Christmas was brown, and warmer here than Halloween.
