I will be an early adopter only if one arrives in my mailbox with a tag that says "from Adam"

I likely won't get one either. I would be thrilled if the K1 II would see a significant price drop to about 1500 cad.

I do not see why any activity we are aware of should drop price of the K-1ii.

Well, I've been researching African safaris a fair amount, and I'm getting pretty optimistic about getting to some African wildlife reserve within a year or so. . . .

Woah! I'm still in my 30s, hopefully it won't be my final camera...

Lucky you! But anyway - do you expect it to work perfectly forever? And what happens one day, when there's a malfunction and no actual camera available? This is a real nightmare for me
Actually, I feel it will last many more years, being that is is only my back-up camera now that I own a KP.

I think it would've been better to use a 645 or K-1 for that. Would've fit the expensive nature better I think.

Yes . It is 65o and sunny here. I just got back from a walk (seems as if the entire city is out for a walk).

It’s all good.
As using celcius (or kelvin) for temperature I was shortly shocked when reading this.

Yes, this has been a very strange year for those of us in the middle of North America. On Halloween I brought my wife home in a blizzard. Christmas was brown, and warmer here than Halloween.
