the endlessly awaited teleconverters -- maybe they will come with this new 70-200 ... one can hope
Fair call. Although I have always considered a crop camera to be the "1.5 x teleconverter" of choice for full frame lenses....

Now wouldn't that be nice! Niche, but nice.
A good match for the K-new?

If I'm hoping for a fisheye and super zoom for my Auto 110s will I be disappointed?
Seriously, good news to have stuff in the pipeline.

What do you mean? in the post I linked above he claims they are both planned to be renewed.
He said so back in 2017 then a few hours ago on dpreview in a big long thread about the 70-210 f4 he said otherwise.

Don't be surprised if all the new lenses will be clones, we all thought the 70-210 f4 was going to be a new Pentax in house design.

Any other ideas?
SuperZoom Shift Macro Aspheric /0.95 is my best guess.

That's easily more than 10 lenses when including the HD version of old lenses. For instance, HD fa 50 1.4, HD fa 50 macro, HD fa Ltd 31, HD vs a Ltd 43, HD da Ltd 77, and more from Tamron.

He did say minimum 10 more lenses.

10 in the pipeline? If this keeps up I’m going to have serious LBA withdrawal symptoms.

I really can’t buy more unless I sell things, and I’m loathe to sell my SMCP (K) Primes. Maybe all my APSc gear and finally fully commit to FF lenses?. Then I could buy K-new and just use the light zooms and FA*300/4.5 with if. (If they refresh the DA* zooms I’ll really be conflicted).

An 18 f3.x or faster prime where optical performance is #1 and cost, weight, and size are not factors would be smart.
Follow with a 25mm-ish f2.5-ish FF plastic prime that everyone can like; low cost, low weight, decent performance on-center wide open. I don't care if the dumb thing still has screw-drive AF. Make the lens that should have shown up with the DA 35 f2.4 and DA 50 f1.8's. It's a focal length that APS-C and FF users can both get behind.

Then tie these into serious advertising. Skid Row's "18 & Life" playing in the background of commercials showing astro work, landscape shots straight from the Ansel Adams playbook. For the 25, Randy Crawford's "Street Life" playing over commercials showing how great at 25 is for street photography. Then the scenes change and you realize you're looking at someone out camping with their K-1 on a tripod and they're capturing star trails with this same lens.

That's incredible. I hope this isn't 10 total by 2025 or something.
It would be amazing if it was that fast.

There is nothing in the pipeline until such is added to the road map and even then, addition only indicates intent for product to market. We will see if @asahi_man has inside dope this time around. Perhaps he will duplicate his list here. He is a member, after all.

I would take him with a pinch of salt as he has been wrong before.
I think that is why he has a reputation of being intentionally vague in his announcements.

So safe to say 85mm is one.
It has a name and has been there for a long time, so it would be a real shame it that status should change.

For whatever reason he posts mostly at DPR now. He has sort of been replaced by @Ooku, who makes fewer posts, but is always right,
