Together with the Ricoh WG-70 Ricoh Imaging announced this morning the Ricoh Theta SC2 for Business, equipped with easy-to-use modes for business such as real estate and car sales:

Pretty cool. My SC2 has a bit faster transfer rates than the SC but not quite as fast as the Theta. It's fast enough for work uses where I can document progress on construction sites. I typically use mine in DR Compensation Mode on a Ricoh selfie stick. The HDR mode is good for tripods but I get too much shake when I try it hand held. The shake really being that the composite image does not line up.

Maybe you ought to sell the idea to them rather than have them ask you. You would be selling a unique "value added" benefit.

They have to have the infrastructure to publish the files in a straightforward way. Lots of people are locked into less than flexible systems and lack the skills and money to sort it out.

Interesting concept .. could be useful in my business of insurance safety & risk control where we take plant tours and then attempt to describe to underwriters what we saw and if properly controlled from a safety or fire standpoint....

1. Give 360 view of scene
2. Give ‘fish-eye’ view of scene
3. Give rectilinear view of part of scene
What software can achieve each of these?
Is that software costly?

I think the software that comes with the Theta cameras can do all of that.
There is an app for phone control as well...
