RIP. I prayed for him this past year, ever since we knew about his cancer. We will miss him.

We're very saddened to hear of Yvon's passing and send warm caring wishes to all his family and many friends.

Yvon's books were an immense help to so many, not the least of which was myself. Careful knowledge, unique insights, and thorough writing just told the entire story of his love of cameras and photography.

May warm memories of the past provide some comfort in the sadness of the moment. Yvon will be so missed in this world, but feel his spirit is continuing his journeys, even now.

Vale Yvon. I hope his family reading this understand how much appreciation there is for his humour, his love of photography and his generosity in sharing his knowledge. He touched a lot of lives. I still get much from his books and referring to them will have an extra poignancy now.

Very sad news. I wish the family strenght to deal with his passing away. I am glad that on the FB page I read that the family believes this is not his end. I believe this too.
