I doubt highly that Ricoh is watching this forum very closely or they would have contacted me about my various ideas about lenses we need and commercials they should make. I'm happy to work with them! I have some great concepts!
I too have some brilliant and original ideas. You know how that goes?, No? Well, sadly, the brilliant ones are mot original, and the original ones are not brilliant...

I would be happy if the new Pentax hits the market in mid-August. My astrologer predicted that then would be a great time for big purchases for me.
p.s. And my old body needs replacement

Never say never... But I think it highly unlikely we'll see the new body so soon, given the effects of the pandemic

Oh, is he related to the Scotsman by the same name? Seems he's an actor, too

Sir Sean can play the role of an Irishman or a Russian should the occasion arise

but he is a son of Edinburgh

QuoteQuote:
. . . His humble beginnings, growing up in a working class neighborhood in Edinburgh, gave no indication of the achievements that were destined to come. Sean was born into a working class family in August of 1930. The oldest of two boys, he spent much of his youth working at menial jobs, just to get by. He left school at an early age and went to work fulltime.

At sixteen, he enlisted in the Royal Navy. Like many young men in the Navy, he opted for a tattoo. However, unlike many tattoos, his were not frivolous – his tattoos reflect two of his lifelong commitments: his family and Scotland. After six decades, his tattoos still reflect those two ideas: One tattoo is a tribute to his parents and reads “Mum and Dad,” and the other is self explanatory, “Scotland Forever.” . . .

why double 0 7

instead of double nought 7 ?

isn't nought old english for zero ?

QuoteQuote:
"Nought", on the other hand, carries the same meaning as "naught" as a pronoun, but it is mainly used in the UK. It is also old-fashioned, so it is rarely used even in the UK and almost never in American English. But in addition to this sense, "nought" is also synonym with "zero" in British English and can replace it in certain contexts.

OK, fine, you want relevance :-)

Terry O'Neill shot a Bond series including Sean Connery using a Pentax. Bam.

A double agent, I think. Looks to me like it is disguised as a Nikon.
