All the images in that link are available at full resolution by changing the image url slightly.

- Right click on the image > View image
- You get the image in a window/tab with an url such as https://pentaxofficial.com/uploads/IMGP5666-1-1024x683.jpg
- By removing the part specifying the dimension (-1024x683 or -scaled) you get an url like this https://pentaxofficial.com/uploads/IMGP5666-1.jpg which comes at 36mp. This can be done for all images.

They uploaded the images at full resolution and the cms scales them down to web size.

Forgot to mention that's one hella cute baby!

To be precise* the message in the email is not that the lens is available for preorder, but just that you can register there to be notified once the lens is available for preorder. A slight difference, but on the internet...

* = "precise" is not something European Ricoh Marketing staff have any understanding of. The pop-up to register for notification talks about "Das ermöglicht Ihnen unter den ersten zu sein, die die Kamera bestellen." = "That allows you to be among the first to order the camera".

My pusher says that Ricoh has pushed back the order date on the 85mm lens to May. She didn't say what year, but I am hopeful that they are close to ready to release the thing.

Brave or foolhardy to do it now? I guess a portrait lens makes more sense than a landscape lens in these bizarre times.
