Total bollocks. The filter diameter is different for a start.

That's a new low - that "Peter" guy cut the source text specifically to alter its meaning to the exact opposite of what was claimed.
This is lying. There's no excuse that it's "only" in the title, since the title sticks.

As explained before, they didn't help propagate this nonsense, they set it up by truncating a quote to change its meaning to the opposite.

Would it have been posted on the 1st of April, this would have been an April Fools joke. A tacky one, I would say.

Posted on the 31st of March, this is despicable.

Peter, the admin of Pentax Rumors, Leica Rumors, Nikon Rumors (his bread and butter) and Photo Rumors, lives in Florida. The Pentax/Sigma article is explicitly dated:

I know, but it's not like trivial things such as reality stopped him from posting in the first place

I wonder who paid Peter to do this? I can’t believe someone would do this out of mere personal animus toward Pentax.

I got that magazine in the post yesterday too. There are six portraits taken with the new lens.

I think that class of lens is always good, but I did like what I saw. They had some backlit portraits and it handled that situation very well. The bokeh is smooth as you’d expect.

More importantly, the lens is the real deal. It exists and it is good.

We go through this every time a new lens or body is about to be released. Some people make up stuff. Other people believe it. I think most of us old timers just sit back and watch the parade. It's gotten to be so ordinary.
