I know it will work on my K-1mkII, not sure if my credit card will work afterwards if I buy one, though

But AF won't work on my K-5, right? (Sorry, haven't followed the KAF4 discussion too closely)

AF should be fine, but the aperture will stay at F1.4....

But what other aperture would you want???

If it performs like the D FA* 50/1.4 it will be glorious at f/5.6.
