Nope. The DFA70-210/4 is there. This one won't be replaced IMO.

possibly the first of a new limited series?

It looks like the speculated d fa*35 mm f 1.4 is still on the map.

...

I would guess that it will be D FA* 24/1,4.

Ricoh, please, bring me 24/1,4 for APS-C.

DFA 24/1.4? Yay! That probably won't arrive until 2022 though...

The item that piques my interest is that DA zoom. Not sure if that's a fresh addition or not. But it looks to be roughly in the range of the DA* 16-50mm, so maybe its finally going to get an update to go with the K-New.
The only problem is that it is shown as a DA zoom, not a DA*, so while it might be a 16-50 f2.8, it wouldn't be at the same quality relative to the rest of the lineup...
Maybe a replacement for the 17-70 f4?

I have the same concern with the suggestion that the telephoto zoom is a DA* 60-250 f4 replacement... the roadmap suggests a full frame D FA, not a * lens.
I think the 70-300-ish variable aperture lens is more likely...

And I still think there is the possibility of lenses that aren't on the roadmap...
The 16-50 could be replaced with a DA* 16-50 II without changing the roadmap at all... and based on prior suggestions that it's being worked now, that wouldn't surprise me.

The DA *16-50 II was listed in a tweet about coming announcements from Pentax, but crossed out. Not sure what that means, but surely it is a lens that is due to be improved.

What do you suppose the UWA single focus lens will be? 20mm? 16mm? I already have the Rokinon 14 2.8, it can't be 14.

Norm, I think 17 or so for the UWA non-fast.

The Ultra wide FF prime certainly spikes my interest. Hopefully something like a DFA 18mm f4 (ideally WR).
Hm. Did you guys actually look at the graph? The colored bar goes from 24mm to 43mm. So 24/28/35 mm seems MUCH more likely.

Or this.

Since it is colored in DFA* color, I would expect it to be fast aperture.

The ultra wide angle goes from 12-24 mm approx.
The large aperture wide angle goes from 24-43 mm approx.

That part of the tweet was a speculation from his author and ended with a question mark. I presume it's @OoKU who crossed the DA★ 16-50 II out.

Since it's named 'Large Aperture Wide-Angle Single Focus Lens' I would definitely expect it to be fast aperture.

Ooku has indicated it will be a D FA* 24mm f1.4

I remember that but I would consider that nothing was set in stone when he told us so. This lens won't be available until 2022 or later.

Where did your 2022 come from?
The label on the side says 2020 or later...

Or are you subconsciously adding a dose of reality?
