Thanks for the info. I hope they can use this contest to advertise Pentax. If we're not in a lock down, I'd give it a try.

Wait the cost to enter at £2 per photo, I can only wonder. That's not big money but it does dampen my enthusiasm a little. Perhaps they need to keep the volumes manageable for the judges? Keeping the riff raff and their phone pictures out, hehehe.

With a Ricoh GR III up for grabs, perhaps I should give it a punt.

I know street photography covers a lot of ground, but this 2019 finalist really stretches the boundaries.

So 16 GRlll’s in the prize box. What’s their unit cost - GBP450? They’ll need 3,200 entries to cover the prizes cost. Anything above that starts to cover promotonal and sponsorship expenses.

Sponsors normally don’t get the entry fees, the organization does. Street Photography International will reap the entry fees. Ricoh has regularly promoted the GR series and Theta, I think they have the biggest margin, plus, the Ricoh name.
