That camera doesn't impress me so much as the fact that they still have all the original lens caps...

It is a Toppan Medium Format Camera with six lenses for 3D lenticular images. All lenses are 2.8/80mm (no brand name). And lens caps too...
Can pixel-shift do this? Can it?

Haha, that would be fun (using SR).

Sure it can. Sensor on the rails and that's it. It should be on the rails right now for it is enough to work the superresolution output. Clever engineers would also dust off that old Contax G -technology and work it a bit so that sensor would move for AF. Lenses would be simple and small. I would say it's very doable these days.

So... any chances of Ricoh dropping some more nuggets of info about the lens in question once the initial rush of the K-3iii is done and we only hear the occasional squealing from the adoring fans? I wouldn't be too surprised if they are waiting to not give us a heart attack with info (they are good guys like that )

I'm excited to a point: now thinking about the K-3 III, a similar DA 14-15mm would be much appreciated. The 15mm is not just slow - which I don't really mind - but its performance appears to be circumscribed.

A 14mm DA Limited with motor would be cool! I hope they make more Limiteds with motors.
