Did you notice the camera has an USB-C port, yet it uses the same D-LI90 battery - according to the FCC certification docs?
I'm curious if they managed USB charging with the old battery.

In theory there's no link between those two.
USB-C doesn't mean even charging anything.....

USB-C is used for data transfer and for power - through the D-AC166 or a similar USB charger. That doesn't necessarily mean the camera has USB charging (like the GR III); which is why I said "I'm curious if".

Oh, the GR III has USB charging but will not be operational and charge at the same time.

In the other thread, there's mention of a D-LI90P battery and a new charger...

So maybe more juice, though it seems to be in the same form factor.

AFAIK = USB C Power Delivery

Not too long now before we get the full specs...

If the few "specs" we have can turn into 64 plus pages just think how long the thread will be when we have all the specs..
