I just started reading the reply tweets & they're kind of funny.

The 1st person: "Hopefully it's not bad news like Olympus. Are you guys gonna say that you're definitely not making mirrorless?"

The 2nd person: "I wanted a sequel to the K-01 even though it wasn't that popular. (Is the K-01 bad since Hoya made it?)"

Then the 3rd person: "Hopefully it's about the K-new 'cause K-mounts are forever."

It's not a direct translation, but you get the gist of it. I'm losing my Japanese.

As much as I like to hear the company's vision moving forward.. I really hope they use this opportunity to give the new flagship aps-c dslr a name and release it's specs.

About 15 years ago I had way more exposure to Japanese. I was able to kind of speak, read, & write it. I wasn't 100% fluent, but fluent enough to get by. I used to live near Gardena, CA. Lots of Japanese folks there. That helped a lot. I've lost contact with a lot of those folks & I don't get much exposure to Japanese anymore. About the most Japanese I get these days is through NHK, but the majority of that is translated.

As much as it would be awesome to get some idea of features in the K-new, it's just as important to know what the companies vision/direction is regarding PENTAX in general. Will it be APS-C, FF and Medium Format going forward? Are they planning on making another stab at mirrorless (like the K-01), an ultra compact new series Q style camera? Either way, It's nice to see that there is a plan for the future or they wouldn't be making this video
