The race that stops a nation (no not the US election) the Melbourne Cup where a public holiday for a horse race is enjoyed by Melbournites.

The winner was decided by a photo finish, and guess what they use Pentax equipment, the logo in the corner of the shot reads 'Pentax,' make no mistake' .

It was cool seeing Pentax commercials on the speaking cyclops!

Pentax was everywhere. Good to see themselves getting out there.

My hubby got a job at Monash. Starts work in Jan 09. I hope to take a lot of pics in Aus.
