I believe Ricoh will pull ultimate troll move and the camera will bear the name 'APS-C Flagship'.

I'm afraid you may be disappointed. It is unlikely "APC-S New" will work on plain AA batteries.

You know a hamster need a nail re-file every 800 shots, so a spare hamster is advised

I amended the original post with a summary about Vol. 2 and added a link to the article.

There is a dedicated thread on Vol. 2 (warning, the thread is mostly an off-topic discussion about whether the screen is fixed or not).

Many of the people who were really active in the K-5 and K-3 photo threads now post pretty excusively in the K-1 thread.
A lot of people who shoot with K-5 and K-3 bodies don't contribute to body-specific threads and never did.

In one or two months, we have a story. Vol 1&2 are just an intro. We don’t need groundbreaking news, but there will be more things to discover.

This is true (as I see it)..... however the K1 seemed to affect some of us (including me) in ways other contemporary cameras haven't. For some reason, I seem to post shots from my K1 from time to time..... but don't seem to do the same thing for my KP. Just a mystery I guess.

I'm not sure everyone will agree. There are creative thinkers out there that can think their way around anything...
