Since they already had a *istD, why not take a bit further? K* V+ (Star quality K-Mount, V+ for the new viewfinder, no more numbers in the name which would separate the future APS-C line from the Full Frame Line).
Numbered series = FF
Lettered Series = APS-C.

Then K-2 makes the most sense for the APSc Flagship, letting the others have distinct nomenclature. Simpler is better.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the name "K-Nu" or Gnu (Gnu, (genus Connochaetes), also called wildebeest, either of two species of large African antelopes of the family Bovidae in the tribe Alcelaphini. They are among the most specialized and successful of African herbivores and are dominant in plains ecosystems.)
Lets see....Solid (Beast of a camera), fast (new focus system), graceful, specialized and successful and dominant in our own little echo system

I like that. Speaking of difficult, how about OM-D E-M10 Mark IV... or the inhouse Ricoh classics GR Digital IV being a predecessor to the GR III...
