In the English Alphabet, the letter J is halfway between C and P. What we are going learn about is a joint collaboration between Canon and Pentax. What else could it be? Other than that and my mirrorless comment earlier I got nothing.

edit: Oh, and my hometown- Warsaw coat of arms is a siren with sword and shield

The event is now announced for November 7. There is one session in the morning and another in the evening, hence "Morning & Night". It's via Zoom.

J Limited Online Event | RICOH IMAGING

This is a computer translation of the introduction part of that page. It seems that it is not a product launch, but showing ideas that were going to be exhibited at CP+ before it was cancelled. Remember that the KP-J was only released after it had been shown a few times and they had got some customer feedback.

If you want to join, you have to register in advance, but it will be completely in Japanese. Judging by the GR Zoom event I attended, it would be pretty much impossible to follow without a good grasp of Japanese. Also the only J-Limited product so far was only released in Japan, so this might only of academic interest to most PF members.

I have a Kushitani perforated leather motorcycle jacket that looks a little like the leather in that photo. Perforated leather was a thing in motorcycling around 15-20 years ago. Not as much now.
