Originally posted by normhead For me, it looks like a K-P may still be in the works, it depends on price. For people who can't get what they want with a K-P the camera could be an improvement. However fr folks like myself who do fine with a K-3 a K-P is still enough of an upgrade to be attractive.
I hear ya! I have a slightly different perspective. I'm holding out for the improved AF for B&BIF (Birds & Bugs In Flight, LOL!) and extra pixel density over my K-1 for crop mode.
We go to great lengths to improve IQ, expensive glass, best sensors, lug tripods, etc. But the single biggest thing that can effect IQ is the failure point of focus. If your subject, or the part of the subject you intended, is not in focus, all the other things that effect IQ don't matter a hill of beans.
So... I am anxiously awaiting the release and reviews of the K-new... Ahem... I mean K3-III to augment my K-1. Will love to see how the K-3 III focuses with my 150-450mm too. Good times!
