A new KP (or similar) is entirely possible. After all, the hardware guys probably have nothing left to do on the k-new.

At this point I will ignore any rumor without some kind of 'support' from them.

There is no press office (Ricoh) that affirms or denies such news,

I would be very surprised if this was a new reflex camera, and why not a mirrorless one? (we know how they think in Pentax house about it)

Something about tar and feathers too...

Baby blue had a warmer reception than yellow IIRC. Something to do with protective instinct I presume.
