Spec sheet list GPS outputs under Playback View.

---------- Post added 10-27-20 at 02:23 AM ----------

It has GPS. The spec sheet lists GPS outputs under Playback View.
Don't want to spoil the party, but this could be taken from OGPS. Don't know if this Playback View option is also in KP... Anyway, a more direct confirmation of this would be welcome.
EDIT: yes, KP has the same Playback View option, to be used only with data from external OGPS

No mention of the bit or subsampling rate of the video recording. These things are important if you're including video at all and without them it's probably unusable junk.
Always positive, huh ?

Not exactly.

Pentax will use bayer array.

I'm not sure how that proves it has GPS. My K3 can record GPS coordinates if the OGPS-1 is connected. The fields are empty if it is not connected.

101 AF points, 25 of which are cross-type, so 76 (basically 3/4, or 75%) are linear-type, I guess? That's a little bit funny to me for some reason. Still better than a D7500 on spec sheet, though.

If you don't have time to do it right, when do you have time to do it over?

There seems to be an 'M.UP' symbol in the new viewfinder. I'm assuming that's a symbol for mirror up, which only makes sense if there was a hybrid viewfinder right?

Japanese prices are usually higher than US and Europe but upper 200k yen(9.46 in video)...I take as 270k ish yen which is almost 2600U$D

Thats a steep price but they always come down.
Preorders for the Sony A7c are 229,900 yen at one Japanese website I saw and $1,798 at B&H today.

Yes,the Japanese pay lots more than some other places.Australia has high initial prices but they usually become quite good after 6 months or so.

That 229900 yen is 2195ish U$D today.

And we still don't know what the S.Fn button does right?

So...
A) no one mentioned that now Highlight-weighted metering is available? That one's an important quality of life change for me.
B) 101 AF points but "only" 25 are cross type so I assume the additional ones are to help with tracking? Are they all selectable? Have just woken up, I'll watch the video later.
C) The name means they're pulling a Canon, or a literally any car manufacturer . No big deal.

The camera looks like a flagship alright, specs are impressive.

All current FF flagship mirrorless have 0% cross type.
So that seems to be a non issue.
