Having 425 AF points, or looking at a non-Pentax camera? In the former case, the AF covers almost the entire FOV for subject tracking, and the latter case because there's cameras from other manufacturers better suited to video (especially 4K up to 60p or HD at 120p). Why all the moaning about the frequency of the mini stories.?
This year is a basket case for any manufacturer trying to do anything to a schedule.
Just be patient

A year ago I had planned to graduate within 2020 and I haven't even started writing the thesis...

I picked up my K-5 the year before the K-3 was introduced, but I'm realizing that the jump in sensor resolution coupled with the elimination of the AA filter really made a difference in perceived sharpness.
