How in the heck can you walk straight with astigmatism correction? I got new glasses earlier in the year and was prescribed a right eye "cylinder" correction and I damn near fell down every time I wore my new glasses had to go back to standard correction rather than a "cylinder" correction.
Ha ha, I was dizzy for a short while after getting the then new glasses. I simply got used with it.

But then, everybody know about this game now, even I who have hardly played any video game for years - unless backgammon on my laptop counts. And I'm intrigued to try it now.

Eh, Cyberpunk 2077 got an announcement trailer in 2012, a full-sized trailer in 2018 and it came out last week. The K-33 is nothing in comparison
And this one video game has cost 200% of the total price of the whole Pentax company when it was sold to Ricoh (in good market conditions) and all its products, facilities, staff etc.

Yeah, it looks like they didn't even give it 4 years of actual dev time. And for a game of that scope with such a dense city they needed at least 2 more years to make it work as intended... And they should have kept it away from older generation consoles. I'm super disappointed with how CDPR handled it.

It's baffling how much recent AAA videogames can skyrocket in budget. I think GTA5 cost a total of $500 million counting marketing back in 2013, and nowadays 100-200 million is common.

I suspect they put in more time marketing than actually developing this game. It's sounds like a repeat of the Windows Vista debacle, in that they've released half-baked software that cannot run well on almost all of the targeted hardware.

In other words, your brain eventually came to work with the new glasses.

I know people who abandoned multi-focals after less than a day’s use (I persisted). Some people’s brains take a little longer to adapt than others’, although I don’t think it’s a matter of IQ.

Any thoughts regarding the CROP overlay on the Pentax K-3 III viewfinder as part of the specifications?
What would the purpose of this feature be?

It is generally reported to take a few days to about a week to get used to invertoscopes - glasses that flip the world 180 degrees.

Well, the official answer I received direct from Pentax is "We do not have cameras available for reviewers yet". Sooo, maybe they're looking in to that for the future. Or, it was a polite way to say no but keep hopes up lol.
Better be on the beta-tester than on the reviewer's short-list...

It also takes some time to get used to a waist-level viewfinder and properly frame one's pictures with it. The human brain is highly adaptable.

Sounds like a darn good way to break a few bones while waiting for the brain to adjust!
