First view of the top LCD in action - not very clear why it has grown so much, but hopefully that ill become obvious as more comes out. Also interesting that 'live action' details not available

I am most excited about the promised increase in image quality. I get the impression that it is substantial...

The menu system looks substantially changed, the shutter actuation sound is very quiet indeed!

Maybe someone can translate the meanings but I noticed one of the menu screens has a line tagged GPS.

It is grayed out unless the O-GPS 1 is attached...

GPS

Maintenance Menu 4 shows GPS -- greyed out in this shot, possibly because Bluetooth or LAN is not enabled and the camera is not linked to a smart-phone GNSS/GPS.

Edit: Or, as @boriscleto claims, the offboard O-GPS unit is not attached.

Nice, 85mm looks a little oversized with lens shade.
12 fps make a nice sound. Flippy mirror is better than flippy screen :-)

Probably mean something is not turned on (the international "NO" slanted line).

In this day and age to come out with a flagship Aps-c camera and not have an articulating screen doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

I wonder why Pentax made that top dial to just switch from photo to video mode? Anybody use this switch often?
