Albert Siegel | K-3 Mark III Hands-On

This video nicely fills in a few gaps and while it has been linked as a comment elsewhere, probably deserves its own thread...

Just watched it, and it only serves to make me want that Mark III even more. Already saving up, and sooner or later I will get there.

Did you notice the video stabilisation?

Cool stuff..... so many unanswered questions. Does tracking still cut the frame rate in half? How much does using multiple focus points affect AF speed? How many images in a full raw buffer?

Great to see Albert's perceptive report getting deserved attention. And it seems they even managed to highlight some of his key takeaways without adding major confusions of their own making.

Amazing. I love that grip. The ergonomics must be really great on this one. I’m very curious about the ISO performance.
The shutter sounds nice. The buffering is really good and the battery grip is a nice addition.

That feature is a bit of a puzzle. Does crop mode on the K-1 increase buffer size?

It's my best guess that you will somehow survive this catastrophe.
