After the Pentax Boutique in Paris (opened 2014), the's a new one to be open up in Moscow!

Who knows. There's Leica boutique in Poland. Since Ricoh is following Leica's footsteps, we might eventually get one.

I nearly purchased one like that a few weeks ago.
My {yellow} Q-7 was showing its age, and the merchant selling that particular one was the only one willing to talk about shutter count {the others weren’t willing to check - my guess is that they had already efficiently boxed them up for shipping}. At the last moment, they listed a gold/white one with ‘150 shots’ {actually it had 112 shots when it arrived} which I bought.

That pink version of the original Q was a collaboration with the Spanish fashion brand Loewe. Only 100 were made, and matching handbags and cases were available.

I think at this early stage, Pentax was really serious about marketing the Q to young (non-photographer) women, so this was a kind of publicity stunt to get mentions in fashion magazines.

This was all before the multicolor Q10 era, and this model exhibited in Moscow is a bit more exclusive than that.

Pentax always had a very limited view of what the “Q” was good for {it was based on the Japanese market}, but it is always good to see them reaching out for new customers beyond Japan for their current models.

Unfortunately it was only public on fb and ig.
The store exists 1,5 years now and no further infos.
