What? "Within a week", and we're counting from March 25, right? I sincerely hope that they make a legit official announcement on April 1st. That will be an instant legend.

I also wonder about the kit lens.

Isn't the K-3 III to expensive to be offered with a kit lens? At least from Ricoh? I don't keep track but it just seems an odd thing to do to sell such a camera with a lens.

Looks like it will be offered as a kit, but that doesn't have to mean with what most consider a kit lens. Maybe they will want to encourage uptake of the new DA* 16–50 PLM by selling a kit containing that lens and the K-3 iii at a modest discount compared to buying the two separately.

Just joined the forum after seeing that the camera will be available for pre order in a week. I wonder what the price might be as a bundle with a kit lens. Nice to meet everyone and really looking forward to this camera! Will be my first pentax.
